A fantastic show is coming to the Sunshine Coast.As the only performance of its kind celebrating the life of Pavarotti performed by former Ten Tenor Roger Davy, the two hour show has had successful performances in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane. Included in the show is Andrea Boccelli and Sarah Brightman’s Time to say Goodbye, La Traviata’s “ Brindisi" along the Famous Pearl Fishers Duet and the unforgettable “Nessun Dorma" along with the best of Broadway songs from shows like West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera.
Featuring three of Queensland most talented performers, Broadway to Pavarotti is more than a recital of old favourites. The show has a plot linking the songs and revealing the stories behind them. Add to that, the light-hearted farce of the two tenors competing for the attention of the beautiful soprano and you have plenty of laughs and musical excellence. A highlight of the night will be the famous tribute to his all-time favourite - Pavarotti.
