The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) is for students passionate about science.  It has been operating for more than 30 years.  Rotary is the Founding Partner of NYSF and today the 21 local Rotary districts across Australia continue to conduct participant selections for the Year 12 Program on behalf of the NYSF.

The forum is conducted in Canberra (and Perth) each year.  The students are introduced to research and researchers and encouraged to achieve excellence in their undertakings by helping to develop their communication and interpersonal skills.

National Youth Science Forum is a 12-day experience held in Canberra in January of each year.  The mission of NYSF is to provide community minded and science-focused young Australians with an opportunity to network and develop insight into skills, careers and a lifetime of achievement in science, engineering, technology and mathematics.

Applicants come from Year 11 students, interviewed and sponsored by the student's local Rotary Club.  Twenty-four candidates from our Rotary District 9600 are selected each year.
