Pride of Workmanship Presentation

Our Vocational Services Director, Bernie Strong spoke about and presented the club's Pride of Workmanship Award to Amanda Hall of Terry White Chemists, Caloundra.

Amanda was overcome with surprise when the meeting was told how nothing asked of her was any trouble in her quests to help customers. A lovely plaque was presented to Amanda who will no doubt display it with pride at her workplace.  A picture was not available at the time of publication.

Pride of Workmanship is an approved Rotary project instigated in 1975 by the Rotary Club of Pennant Hills (Australia, District 9685).

The Pride of Workmanship Program enables managers in our society to help employees achieve the goal of job satisfaction, and publicly recognize them for their efforts. Participating businesses promote the Pride of Workmanship theme of "Do it once - do it well" throughout their organization and nominate employees worthy of recognition, not only within the organization, but the wider community.

Another award will be made by the club shortly.
