The BBQ was very successful with about 700 sausages being sold on 37 loaves of bread with 16 kg of onions and untold cans/bottles of drink/water.
The net profit was around $1,200 after all costs.
Full on for all for almost the whole period until the storm rolled in. Many thanks for those workers, particularly Iain Nye who came at short notice to fill in for Ann who felt very unwell (he then stayed until closure) and to Helen Fox who worked the middle shift then way beyond the change over time through part of the third shift to cover the workload. She and Anne Boland truly earned their medals when coping short-handed but they were ably assisted by two young ladies who stepped in to help us.
