The Annual Mayoral Ball in support of SunnyKids to be held on Saturday 7 October. The event will be held in the McDermott Aviation Hangar at the Sunshine Coast Airport Marcoola. Themed the sky is the limit, the night will also incorporate the 50th anniversary of the naming of the Sunshine Coast. A video clip is here for you to get a quick overview of the evening. Mayor Mark Jamieson is excited, celebrity chef Matt Golinski is preparing a wonderful menu of local seasonal produce and we need your support to make an event of this scale happen!
SunnyKids is asking that you consider a volunteer role at this unique event. Your time will be fun, rewarding and a great opportunity to meet other like minded people too. Volunteering is always more fun with a friend, family member or work colleague, feel free to share.
All volunteers will receive a uniform in line with their role, food, drink, certificate of appreciation and a warm fuzzy feeling knowing you have been a huge part in the success of a grand night on the Sunshine Coast.
A briefing will be held two weeks prior to the event so you feel confident in your role. Specific training by industry professionals where required will also be available.
Various roles are as follows:
