Unfortunately we had a smaller group than anticipated on Tuesday morning to listen to our delightful Rotary Youth Exchange Student, Chloé Mear.  Chloé gave the club a wonderful insight into her life and her family who live in Brittany, which is situated in the north of France.  She was prepared for the questions from our members after her talk.   If any of you can, please include Chloé in any of your short trips, adventures while she is here with us.

There is a new Board meeting procedure available in Club Documents in the Members' area of our website.  Can all members please take the time to read it.  It would be much appreciated.

As you are all aware, …

Gerry is stepping down from organizing the monthly Bunnings BBQ fundraising event.  I am asking that if any member is willing to take on this task or may be share it with a couple of members, let me know.  The BBQ is raising approximately $5,500 a year for our project funds.  In the absence of this fundraiser, we as a club would have to find an alternative activity so we can give back to the community.

A Fundraising Committee under the auspices of the Community Service Committee has been set up to investigate new and innovative fundraising ideas.  The committee is chaired by President Elect, Chris Rees.

I have been thinking of our past members of late and maybe it would be prudent of us to reach out to them just to see how they are going and maybe if they are interested in coming to a meeting at some time.  Just to catch up.

I hope you all have a wonderful week and please stay safe.
