Over three-quarters of our membership participated in volunteer activities and/or met socially for Rotary fellowship during this week.  That is a great achievement!

Three days for 18 of our members filling 31 volunteer positions assisting the smooth operation of the Caloundra RYDA Road Safety Education program.  Yes some backed up on two or three days - well done!  600 local high school students benefitted.

On one of those days, Gerry's team of 10 BBQ volunteers slaved over a hot stove serving our fabulous sausages to hungry customers.  Yes, some of the fabulous 10 also volunteered at RYDA!

An impromptu birthday party for Rotary's 113th anniversary on Friday night saw 14 members and their partners having a swell time.  Eight knowledgeable members plus their equally learned helpers (partners and many friends) filled three tables at Thursday's annual Trivia night in aid of Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children (ROMAC) organised by the Rotary Club of Caloundra Pacific.  Finally tonight - bringing the week to a close - 10 members plus partners will be socialising at the races at Corbould Park for the Steps Charity Race Night.  And tomorrow. two members will be volunteering at the Rotary Australia World Community Service's Donation in Kind facility.  For those that use acronyms that's RAWCS & DIK.

We don't do that every week but its great to be able to record how club members came together this week to serve and enjoy fellowship.
