Trevor is the Principal of Caloundra Law Business and Property Lawyers.

He chose not to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather who were both Railway workers.

Instead Trevor pursued a career in law.  He qualified in 1981 after completing five years of training with a commercial law firm in Gympie.

Trevor has been living and working on the Sunshine Coast for the last 33 years.

He married a local girl (Gina) in 1985 and together they have two children, neither of whom have any interest in law.
Outside of work, Trevor has had a long involvement with the sport of Tenpin Bowling.  This came about because both his children are keen bowlers.  His daughter Jacinta won the Australian Championship at the tender age of 20.

As it happens parents are encouraged to become volunteers.  Amongst the many volunteer positions Trevor has held, he somehow got talked into being Chairman of the Board of Queensland Tenpin Bowling, a position he held from 2010 until 2016.  He saw three Premiers come and go in those seven years.

Trevor and Gina love travel, especially cruising.  They only returned from cruising Europe in July but are off cruising again at Christmas - this time to New Zealand.

After a very short period of membership in 2001, Trevor re-joined Rotary as a result of chance meeting with then President Judy Clarke and Treasurer Deb Taylor.  He was attending the Presentation Night for Caloundra State High School in October 2015 and was seated beside Judy and Deb.  They both knew him professionally and casually said "You should join the Rotary Club of Caloundra".  Trevor agreed and was inducted on the same day as Peter Davis, 3 November 2015.  That's how easy it was to find a new member!
