District 9620 Governor 2021-22 Selection
Nominations for District 9620 Governor 2021-22 close on 28 February 2019, just over two weeks time (view the invitation).This is a rare opportunity for Rotarians to be the first District Governor of a new District, we might even say the Charter District Governor.
The selected person will be involved in the development of the new District, with the full support of the team currently in place.
As you may be aware we have had a team working on the procedures etc, required to ensure the smooth transition, and the first District Governor will be an essential part of that team.
One of the things, we were working on, was the Rotary International requirement for the District Governor to visit all the clubs, in their District.
We are pleased to confirm that at the International Assembly, in San Diego, in January, District Governors Elect were advised that they are no longer required to visit all Clubs.
Please consider, we need someone with inspiration to take up the challenge to lead District 9620.
