Contribute to your club's newsletter
With our club no longer meeting as normal, this is a reminder that there are other ways to stay in regular contact.

Tuesday's Zoom meeting was certainly a step forward but there is a lot to learn about engaging members - and non-members/visitors - and perhaps having a guest speaker.  A regular weekly Zoom meeting is planned - go to the website on Tuesday mornings and click the Zoom link to attend.

What about a contribution to your newsletter to let everyone stay in touch.  Some suggestions for each of us to consider:
  • Coffee with a Rotarian” a member or two each week provides a profile of some sort such as a personal update, a vocational perspective etc … the options are endless
  • 'Highlight of your week' is where Rotarians share those special moments of their week together with a picture or video if possible
  • Members share a short story or anecdote about anything special, or any interesting events that they have witnessed or participated in - and if appropriate attach a picture or two
  • 'Through the Rotary Lens' - members send in a photo of something interesting to all and get creative describing what the picture is all about
  • Share some Rotary knowledge
  • Perhaps even a joke or two for a humour section
Oh, and there continue to be plenty of Rotary clubs meeting online so Google them and attend another club's Rotary meeting virtually - even one that is an another time zone!

Over to you!  I am happy to help but need your contribution.

I spend a lot of time thinking of family, not just my own or the extended family of Rotary, but also the families we are helping in the communities we serve. In many parts of the world, mothers and children face challenges to survive that most of us will never comprehend ...
