Bernadette, or as we like to call her, Bernie has a family of three children, three stepchildren and 15 grandchildren.  You'll have to read on to learn more about her family.

 

Her time with Rotary goes way back to Toowoomba South & Mareeba.  She has been part of the Rotary Club of Caloundra family since June 2004 and most recently and formally as one of our Rotarians, having been inducted as a member in February 2014.

 

Bernie assumed her official role as President for 2018-19 today (1 July).

 

Bernadette worked as a Customer Service Officer with Bendigo Bank for approximately seven years and with husband, Ron was instrumental in raising community awareness and setting up the Caloundra Community Bank that has now been operating for 10 years.

 

Her decision to retire in 2008 prompted her to become more involved in the Community and she is a member of the Caloundra Community Bank where she served on the Board from 2011 to 2017, Company secretary from 2014 to 2017, AICD Directors Course, Caloundra Regional Gallery, Australian Pensioners and Superannuants League, Vietnam Veterans of the Sunshine Coast, and T A P P.
