The Rotary Club of Caloundra – in conjunction with the Pelican Waters Tavern – held a very successful Melbourne Cup lunch to raise funds for the Sunshine Coast branch of the Mental Illness Fellowship.

The ‘fancy dress’ event was sold out ensuring a substantial donation in excess of $1,350 to the Mental Illness Fellowship. Club President Peter Davis, representing the charity, received the cheque presented by Judy Clark.
 
A three-night Royal Caribbean Cruise on the 'Voyager of the Seas' from Sydney was donated as a lucky door prize by The Travel Agent at Caloundra with Caloundra Rotary providing return air fares to Sydney for the lucky winner.

The Rotary Club of Caloundra meets each Tuesday at the Oaks Oasis Resort.  The meeting starts at 7 am.  A prompt finish at 8 am is assured!
 
The meetings are open to visitors and generally feature a guest speaker on topics of interest, especially relating to the Caloundra area of the Sunshine Coast
