In the last 19 years, DIK has shipped 578 containers of equipment and supplies containing goods worth $58 million to 32 countries, with a strong emphasis on items that improve education, medical and maternal care.
Help is needed from Rotary Clubs within either District 9600, 9630 or 9640 to support RAWCS Donations in Kind Northern Region with volunteers to assist with general housekeeping for a few hours commencing from 8.00am on the following dates:

RAWCS Northern Region Donations in Kind
As you are aware, Donations in Kind Northern Region has been in lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Approval has been received to reopen subject to establishing a Workplace Health and Safety Plan for COVID-19 with procedures addressing the safety, health and hygiene of our workers and visitors. This plan, as well as changes to the work place addressing social distancing and hygiene, will be in place by the end of May 2020.
Help is needed from Rotary Clubs within either District 9600, 9630 or 9640 to support RAWCS Donations in Kind Northern Region with volunteers to assist with general housekeeping for a few hours commencing from 8.00am on the following dates:

One of the first tasks will be to address the state of the yard. If possible, volunteers should bring along whipper snippers, pressure spray packs, and any personal protective equipment etc.
Please note that assistance with this general housekeeping will not be in lieu of the rostered assistance for the loading of containers
