Gerry Swan has advised that he attended the changeover night of the Rotary Club of Darwin Sunrise on Thursday 25 July, which was also the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the club's Charter meeting.
He spent the previous Wednesday in hospital having his heart zapped back into rhythm, so he missed his flight and bus; he was able to get another flight to Darwin on Thursday and made it with five hours to spare.
