This is the first of our monthly newsletters, sent in the lead-up to the trio of Gympie Rotary craft events to be held October 31 - November 1, 2020.
Over the last few months, the Rotary Club of Gympie has been busy adding even more outstanding exhibits to an already jam-packed program. Below is a brief rundown on what’s in store.
Three co-events will run alongside each other in Gympie’s Pavilion and adjacent Stadium, October 31 - November 1, 2020.…entry to all three events for just the one ticket price... $8 per person:
Gympie Rotary's Quilt & Craft Spectacular 2020
A showcase of over 180 quilts, displays of artisan crafts and handmade markets
Now on the horizon, this event is considered to be a “must-do” and one of the largest quiters/ crafting events in South East Queensland. The bar has been raised yet again!
+ Gympie Rotary's Ancient Crafts Rare Trades Expo 2020
Meet the Makers of heritage crafts of yesteryear
Over 40 skilled artisans and traditional of heritage gather to share their passion and their knowledge… come along and say g’day to woodcarvers, woodturners, spoon smiths, silversmiths, tinsmiths, papermakers, mosaic artists, gilders, glassblowers, lapidarists, shinglesplitters, blacksmiths, luthers, basketmakers, potters, toymakers, and don’t miss meeting Stan, who will present the Australian Bushcraft Show and hosting 2 shows for kids!
