PP Bernie delivered the President's Report
  • $408m was raised for the Rotary Foundation last year - not small change - and fed back into our Rotary projects
  • The inaugural steering committee for the Caloundra Information Centre was held, and was attended by Council's Community Development Officer - The centre is envisaged to be used by locals as well as tourists, and an introductory BBQ will come soon - catered by Caloundra Rotary - so we know the sausages will be world class.
Deborah introduced Mel - she didn't know about the book when she first met her.
Mel is a victim of domestic violence, and has spent the last 25-30 years in hiding. Her abuser is still alive and has spent time in jail.
