We are getting an extra two divisions for Council in 2028. They knew this was coming, and there is sufficient space in the new City Hall chamber.

Caloundra Transport Corridor Upgrade or CTCU as it is commonly known.
They require a Federal approval under matters of national environmental significance – something you would normally expect for the Barrier Reef. Prompted a call from the Premier. 100,000 vehicles per day going through the Caloundra roundabout. Alternative access to the CBD will provide some relief, and there will be another entry to the industrial estate without needing the roundabout.

Derek asked if the sea walls being built at Golden Beach where a "Band-Aid" solution. Terry noted that Bribie was national Park, and Council only had jurisdiction to the high water mark.

In a 6 km walk around Nambour, there were at least 33 homeless people, and the town was still recovering from the flooding of Petrie Creek. $10.5k last year
