A relaxing meeting at the Urban Espresso cafe looking out over lake Kawana

Trevor chaired the meeting, beginning with an apology for last week
Apparently "doing what the Premier asked" and traveling 4000 km around Queensland
Welcome to guests Robyn & David
Thanks for the photos Irish

James proposed the International Toast to RC Windsor & Eton, who had Prince Phillip as an honorary member
They meet at the Castle Hotel, Windsor (where else?) and have done so for the last 90 years.  They have raised £600,000 over the last 10 years
James even managed the technology to play us the UK National Anthem

James

A "Great Rotary Club". He's been on the PETS trail, and can announce Rotary's 2021/22 Theme

We have a solid membership of 38 + 4 honorary but new members are always wanted. A good membership promotion is for "each one to bring one".
We need to do a SWOT analysis as a Club health check  (Strengths, Weaknesses Opportunities & Threats)
Friends of Rotary is now in our constitution so we can develop this
Roger is to investigate a tree planting in Ben Bennett Park to commemorate the 100 years of Rotary Aus/NZ
James' password is Bashful Doc Dopey Happy Sleepy Sneezy Grumpy and Belgradia.  Apparently you need seven characters and a capital.
Thought for the day is from H. Jackson Brown, Jr. "Let the refining and improving of your own life keep you so busy that you have little time to criticize others"
Thanks James

Merv had a quote from Walt Disney "The way to get started is to stop talking and begin doing"

Sgt Ian had the last word
