Dear club president or district governor,
As you lead your club or district in continuing Rotary’s long tradition of service, we’d like to make sure you know about the many opportunities you have to nominate outstanding clubs, members, and nonmembers for a variety of awards. Recognizing people for their accomplishments in service helps to create a positive culture and engages both our own members and our communities.

I especially want to draw your attention to the Club Excellence Award. Each year, Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact clubs can earn this prestigious award for all-around excellence by setting and achieving goals that strengthen the club, its district, and Rotary. When at least 50% of the Rotary clubs in a district earn the Club Excellence Award, the district earns the District Excellence Award. You can find the club excellence goals for Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact clubs, as well as FAQs and more, at rotary.org/ClubExcellence. And then track your club or district’s progress with the Club Excellence Recipients Report.
We encourage you to start thinking about recognition early in your term, so you don’t miss an opportunity to motivate and recognize those club members, community members, and clubs that are making an impact.
