Good afternoon Presidents, Secretaries and Guest Speaker officers (Clubs who have not already heard about the work being done and to be done in Western Queensland)

This email is to is to alert you to the availability of important GS’s.

Five Clubs have already availed themselves of Rotarians who have already volunteered their services to Blaze Aid out at Quilpie to assist (mainly – but not restricted too) with the cooking of food for workers erecting new fencing on devastated farms. This work, whilst moving around Western Queensland to varying locations over the ensuing 12 months is ongoing. At the President Elect Training earlier this year it was decided to team up with Blaze Aid to provide manpower to feed workers.

To date four Rotarians / partners (RC Buderim) have assisted and are eager to share their experience with your Club. Tex Pipke is the Cluster Chair for this project and his email contact is above.

I encourage you to contact Tex with the view of locking in a GS segment at your Club. Tex (RC Eumundi), Ken Grant & Malcolm Dean (RC Buderim) have put together an informative presentation.

I would appreciate every Clubs participation in hearing the Guest Speakers as soon as practicable.

Thank you in advance.
