Further to yesterday’s email, I should also have mentioned that I have done some research on accommodation so let me know if you need some suggestions.

My biggest tip is to be on a tram line that goes close to the Melbourne Convention  Exhibition Centre (MCEC) eg trams from Spencer St or Flinders St.

(I know Laver arena is also a venue but I suspect that maybe only for opening/closing ceremonies.)

And whilst trains are good, the stops are at least 1 klm away from MCEC requiring a tram or walk….and remember Melbourne will be quite chilly in late May.
