To all Board Members
The enclosed quote has been received from HPI our project partner.
As explained at the last Board Meeting, District TRF have advised we have to use or lose our $2000 grant (50% of project cost); deadline is 30/6/2021.
So we are taking a different approach given the COVID difficulties in engaging builders.
Hence we will purchase the materials directly and the SACH manager will oversee the project. This is achievable since there is no construction of a building as such.
So just keeping you in the loop as this has been approved by the Board and I will now confirm the quote is in order and to proceed with this project.
Can I also add that such an outcome would not be possible without the assistance of HPI and we would have to let this grant lapse; and who knows what grants will look like under District 9620.
