A few of us joined others from local Rotary clubs at the Donations in Kind (DIK) Warehouse in Kingston, braving the extended two hour drive there and back in the safe hands of James.

Some sorted and packed books, others filled a container with hospital beds or moved medical equipment to another part of the warehouse to make room for the forklift to access the shelves.  Often during the week, with only two hands available, incoming goods get unloaded haphazardly so it was good to restore some semblance of order.  The irony is that the warehouse contents are growing as DIK cannot afford to ship any containers.  DIK's depleted bank balance needs to be re-stocked and hopefully our Rotary clubs will do that.
