Volunteer - Rotary needs people like you to make a difference

Being a Rotarian is both rewarding and fun, the immense satisfaction you gain from working with passionate people on worthwhile projects is only matched by the new friends you will make in the process.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a student, a professional, a stay at home parent, a teacher, a doctor, a tradie or a farmer.  We need young and old, retailers, gardeners, athletes, social workers, artists, grandparents and retirees too.  If you have something you care about, and want to make a difference in your community, we need you!

Despite what you may have heard, you don't have to make a commitment to weekly meetings.  We're happy to take any help you can give!  For some people that means occasionally turning a sausage at a fundraising BBQ, but for others that means planning major projects or travelling overseas to participate in humanitarian aid programs.

Rotary has something for everyone - and a range of membership options.

At the Rotary Club of Caloundra, we pride ourselves in offering a warm welcome to new members and volunteers involving them immediately in local projects.  You will be allocated a 'mentor' who can offer advice, especially useful if you have little experience in community work.  If you are a past Rotarian wanting to join a vibrant club on the Sunshine Coast, then you have come to the right place.

Rotary – your partner in improving the lives of many

You will be partnering with like–minded individuals who operate under high ethical standards and believe in “Service Above Self” along with a passion for building teamwork and friendship.  You will be an integral partner in helping us to make a difference in the community.  We will value your input no matter how small.

We work locally and internationally - you can find out more about Rotary International’s activities in the main menu.  Ongoing projects include improving sanitation, combating hunger, providing education, promoting peace and eradicating polio.

Our breakfast meeting is a good place to start - use the 'Enquiry Form' below or the 'Contact us' link to send us a message so our Membership Director can get in touch.  Our meetings are lively, and generally feature an inspiring speaker on topics of interest covering local and international topics.

We welcome men and women of all ages and occupations, our members are a diverse group of retirees and working people, but we all share the same dedication to making the world a better place.
